Gospel singer, Israel Houghton, denies his current girl friend, Adrienne, was the reason his marriage packed up

 It's no more news that Gospel singer, Israel Houghton, who recently got divorced (about a month ago) from his wife of 20 years is dating  an entertainer by the name of Adrienne Bailon. He announced it via a recent Facebook post.

Then people started attacking his girl friend claiming that Houghton cheated on his wife with Bailon, an accusation that Houghton has since denied.

 He posted, '....I understand that gossip and salacious untrue speculative stories are far more interesting and entertaining than the truth & facts. But, it's incredibly unfair to allow someone to carry the burden, blame & shame of something they had nothing to do with. 

I met Adrienne Bailon a bit over 2 years ago, we worked together & became friends... Our circles connected & we remained good friends. From a friendship, as two single adults we have very recently begun to explore a dating relationship."

Bailon is a song-writer, actress  who also starred in the Houghton-produced movie, I am in love with a church girl. The 32 yr old famously dated Rob Kardashian.

Houghton claims that he had not even met Bailon when his marriage was falling apart which was about 5 years prior to his divorce.

*That was fast. I was seriously hoping that Israel will still try working at restoring his marriage like Benny Hinn did. So sad.
