It was leap year today and I found out one of the traditions practiced on this special day that comes once every four years- women are allowed to propose to their men. I was like 'huh?'
They say this tradition goes as far back as the 5th century in Ireland when St Brigid struck a deal with St Patrick, allowing women to propose on Feb 29 (real or not, I don't know).
But why would any woman want to do that in the first place?
*Leave me an answer if you have it. Lol. Did I say happy new month tomorrow?
