Surprised I asked? We are men and we surely have our moments you know. Job ranted but what he never did was curse or insult God. Job was sad and angry yet God appeared to ignore him because He had a plan for Job and it was beautiful.
A friend once told me how he was so angry with God at a point in his life that he shut God out for a
while. I'm talking about a Spirit filled, tongue speaking brother here. Thank God he found his way back eventually.
Like my friend, have you ever been angry with God over unfulfilled dreams, shortened expectations, broken promises, hard times, unrealized desires or unanswered prayers?
Those times when you have your doubts, fears and constantly wondering when all these big dreams will come to pass or if they ever will? These are the moments when you ask, "Why does God delay?" and then you muse 'over the prosperity of the wicked' while you, a child of God for that matter, seems to be in lack. You wonder, "where is the fulfillment of His promises?"
Worry and uncertainty fill your spirit. Agony and frustration tug at you very soul. Even God's Word is not making sense to you anymore.
Keep in mind the faithfulness of God and of the fact that His answer is as sure as the dawn. It may tarry but He said, "Wait for it." It may not happen in your time but be sure that when it happens in His time, it will be worth your while.
One thing is sure, 'God will definitely do just what He said He will do. He's gonna fulfill every promise to you. Don't give up on God 'cause He won't give up on you. He's able!' *I wonder who sang these very words. I love it*
