Myths about Hell

Is hell real or just the figment of our imagination? Pst Sarah Omakwu of Family Worship Centre exposed some myths about hell and I wanted to share.

Hell does exist; a place of literal fire, pain , anguish, torment, misery, distress, travail affliction and eternal punishment. But is anything, position, enjoyment, sex or anyone in this world worth taking us there? For me , my answer is NO, what's yours?

Some people think hell is a joke and is going to be a sex and alcohol infused party. They say as long as Michael Jackson, Fela etc are there, hell won't be boring...smh. 

But how can people in torture day and night, whose 5 senses are conscious of their situation have time and energy to play? Where worms that never die eat through their flesh and the flames never go down, a place of fire and brimstone. Hell is no playground.

So let's look at these myths about hell; myth because they are all lies.

1) Hell doesn't exist because it cannot be scientifically proven.

2)Hell is a figurative term. That it simply represents that you cease to exist.

3)Hell is temporary.

4)Life in hell will be like life on earth.

5)Hell won't be that bad since there will be musicians like Fela there.

6)A loving God won't send people to hell.

7)Only worse people will go to hell.

8)People have already experienced hell on earth.

9)You have been destined to die and go to hell already and you can't do anything about it.

10)Hell is not literal fire. 

We'll talk more on hell later. Nothing in this world is worth this hideous place, nothing.
