I dedicate this write-up to every woman who has been used, jilted, harassed, heart broken, beaten, battered and shattered. To every woman wanting to make a fresh start.
To every woman who thinks there is no hope for her, no man who will love her for her and to every woman who has decided to stay sexually pure in a sex crazed generation. Please read on:
I am bold, strong and tough. I am different. I am not your regular kind of woman that gives in to the masculine whims and pressure for sex. I am not one who believes that relationships thrive on sex.
Forget it. I refuse to sway to the lie that sex can keep a man.In fact, the man who truly loves me will wait with me. I
know my value, my worth and because I know God didn't create me cheap, I
guard my body with jealousy and utmost diligence.
I cover it. I protect it because it's not just mine. It's God's own Temple, the place where His Spirit dwells. I have come to realize that treasures are hidden, buried from the the prying eyes of men.
So I put on my garb of decency and chastity, walking with head held high while I wait to give my body to 'the' man whom I will call husband. Yes, he and no one else will access my most precious possession.
Yes. I am not your regular kind of woman, weakened by emotions, torn by heart breaks. I am resilient and I know what I want. I want righteousness. I want peace. I deserve to be joyful.
Sweet words dripping from the false hearts of men don't move me. Men who want to use me and treat me like trash. I respect my body so that men can respect me.
No. I am not your regular kind of woman! My life has been paid for in full by the shedding of the blood of Jesus. He (Jesus) has become my righteousness. No, I am not for sale.
