Masturbation is a plague right now, a way to stimulate one's genital sexually usually to the point of orgasm. And contrary to what a popular pastor said that masturbation is not a sin but just a habit, I will say that masturbation a sin and a bad habit, completely unhealthy for your soul.
It's everywhere, even in the Church and many try to justify this very act in order to feel more comfortable doing it. There is nothing pure about masturbation and I will show you why.

Sexual sin
The Bible does not literally mention masturbation but
masturbation is categorized under sexual sin See 1Cor 6:9-10.
Sexual sin/immorality isn’t just fornication/adultery. It
also includes pornography, bestiality, homosexuality, sodomy, pedophilia.
Necrophilia, bisexuality, fetishes etc.
You don’t see any mention of pornography in the Bible but that
does not mean pornography isn’t a sin.
So masturbation like every sexual sin deviates from what God intended sex to be. God who created sex
has given you guidelines on sexual morality, between a man and his wife and
masturbation clearly violates God’s Word and intentions.
An abuse of the gift of sex
Someone engaging in masturbation is actually abusing the
gift of sex and isn’t using it as God intends it to be used. Read here how God wants sex to be.
Unclean thoughts and fantasies
Masturbation involves unclean thoughts and fantasies, you
will agree with me, right? Jesus said in Matt 5:28 ‘…anyone who even looks at a
woman with lust has committed adultery with her in his heart.’ God is light and
in Him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5b) There is nothing light about
masturbation.

Masturbation is one of the basest sexual acts used in
satanic sex rituals. These men , Anton Lavey (founder of church of Satan) and
Aleister Crowley (dubbed the wickedest man in the world) who have a total
hatred towards God always indulged in such acts to glorify
Satan. So, what’s pure about this act?
It’s natural to have an urge for sex but it is unnatural for
you to allow those urges control you. Sex urge is a gift from God which ought
to be channeled for the worthy purpose: pleasure and procreation between a man
and his wife. It isn’t meant to be abused but to be used for sexual bonding in
marriage.
That’s why God gives us self control as one of the fruit of
the Spirit. Get Jesus, get self control. Don't allow yourself to be enslaved by this. You can break free through Jesus.

ReplyDeleteMasturbation is a problem because Church leaders are not teaching believers God's provisions to break free from the law of sin and death. Hence many Christians are waging a secret war with the flesh. The will power that we employ to fight sins is not enough to checkmate the law of sin and death in man.
What solutions do you proffer to break the grip of masturbation on believers?
Thanks so much Joel. I do have some unpublished works and it's only a matter of time before they are published by God's grace. Let me say this: the will power of man is never and can never be enough to break the masturbation hold in a Christian's life. He will need more than that,God.
ReplyDeleteUntil he realizes that he can't do it in his own feeble strength then he will continue to struggle with this sinful habit. This is always the first step.It's not your ability but His ability in you is one of my favorite quotations. Jesus is all we need to set us free.
