The zombie drug is a new kind of drug called Spice that has taken over the streets of Europe and North America.
The Mirror says that "a spice nightmare is turning city centers into real-life horror movies," while the Daily Mail reports that "Spice turns users into the ‘living dead’ in minutes and is ruining lives across Britain.”
An ex-spice addict described the feel as being brain dead. He said, “You just feel braindead half the time. They say people look like zombies, and that’s how it feels.
The first time, I can’t even explain what it was like. It just blew my head off. I thought ‘never again.’ It’s just such a heavy high. It’s so intense.
The first high lasted about one hour, but it really felt a lot longer. It’s like you’re there but you can’t communicate. You’re alive in there, but you can’t see it on the outside. You just feel braindead.”
Manchester innercity is being ravaged by this spice epidemic and according to some of them, spice has replaced heroin, crack and even alcohol as the drug of choice.
*Why do people turn to drugs, alcohol, sex etc knowing very well how ruinous they can be? I believe they are trying to fill up a void. These things rather than take their problems away, further damage their lives and leave them emptier than before. That's the sad truth.
The zombie drug effect is a reflection of how useless Satan renders people. What joy do they derive from this dehumanization, this blatant shame? It's clear this drug is demonic...which drug isn't?
God is the only ultimate void filler. Nothing else can take His place. No matter how people want to drown their troubles with drug, sex and alcohol, it's impossible to feel better after it all. It will rather leave you drained, dirty, useless and hopeless.
Stop looking for happiness in the wrong places and start looking to Jesus, the ultimate source of our joy.
