What do you protect the most with every fibre of your being and every drop of your blood? 

What is that singular thing you will never give up even if your life was on the line?

That is your greatest treasure. It is the one thing the devil is after because he knows when he gets hold of it, he owns you and that's why the Bible says you should guard it above all else, for it determines the course of your life.


 I bet you already know what it is...YOUR HEART. It's your most prized possession. It's not your position. Not your money. Not your children. Not your wife. Not your husband. It's your heart. That is actually what the devil is fighting for. It is what he wants to steal from you.

 And if you know how valuable your heart is, you will guard it vigilantly and diligently every single day of your life. Unfortunately, Christians tend to protect other things that seem to matter more and neglect their heart. 

They expose the heart to so many things but what they don't realize is that when the heart has been compromised, so will their entire lives; their destiny will be jeopardized.

Your heart is the reason why Satan plants seductresses on social media, puts nudity on billboards, makes porn and sex so easily accessible His motive is to pollute it, fill it up with immorality and lust, lies, doubt and all manner of evil.

The devil is not looking to steal your money or your home. His target is your heart.

Your heart is what controls every action you make, every word you say. It determines your response, your approach, everything you do, good or bad.

 Out of a bad heart, badness flows. Out of a good heart, goodness will flow. Your heart is what makes you. Your heart is you and you are your heart. Your real you is your heart. 

Guard it with diligence. Don't sleep on the job or the subtle enemy will take over before you even know what's happening.
