The other day I saw Angelina Jolie eating scorpion and tarantulas in Cambodia. It's nothing compared to what some people eat.
Imagine making a feast out of frogs, cockroaches, worms, rats, spiders, grasshopper, termites, dogs, frogs , snakes! You might say "Yuck!" but people actually eat it and relish it.
So let me share these pictures plus the countries that eat it.
Fried Tarantula: Tarantulas are black fuzzy spiders.
Cobra meat: Snakes are relished in certain countries. You can drink snake wine as well as eat its flesh. There is very little flesh on a cobra so it is eaten skin and all.
Bug sushi:
Grasshopper Burgers: This is a burger made from ground-up grasshoppers.
Frog dish:
Meal of worms:
Pig blood:
Scorpion delicacy:
Hard-boiled partially developed fertilized duck egg: Wondering how to eat this one? Wonder no more.
According to Vietnam food channel Simply crack the top off, suck out the juice and then spoon out the colorful morsels with pinches of pickled carrots, garlic, radish, turnip, some mint leaves, and a dash of salt and pepper.
*Did you notice must of these delicacies are Asian? Lol. When I go to Asia I will be watching what I eat. Lol. Too much to assimilate.
So which one will you try?
