Rich girl says her life is empty and her money gives her stress

There is something about this girl's story that I had to put it out here. 

Jane Park, 21, won a lotto of £1million when she was 17 and now she wants to sue the lotto company. Why? Because the huge payout had ruined her life.

Before her win, she worked as an admin temp making £8 an hour and lived with her mum.

In her words: “I have material things but apart from that my life is empty. "What is my purpose in life?" I thought it would make my life ten times better but it’s made it ten times worse.
 
I wish I had no money most days. I say to myself, ‘My life would be so much easier if I hadn’t won.’"

So what did she do with her money?

A £4,500 boob job, two properties, a Louis Vuitton handbag, a chihuahua and an £18,000 Range Rover.

You know, money can be both a blessing and a curse - it all depends. One thing God is teaching me currently is that before He hands us the responsibility of handling a huge amount of money, He prepares us. Why? So we don't get controlled by money. Money is a spirit (Mammon). 

If you are faithful in little, He gives you more. That's why we should not be in a hurry to 'make it' by following short cuts. Quick and easy cash. 

Do things God's way. The money may not land as soon as you think you need it, but when you continue to pursue God, He will give it to you at the right time.

At 17, this young woman came into millions. And when she thought it will better her life, it ruined her. Is that not an irony? Look at what she wasted her winnings on. No investment whatsoever. 

It also points to the fact that money is not everything. You can have all the money in the world, but your life is as empty as anything. Really, what is life without a purpose? What is life without God?

So when the devil flaunts all those millions, all those luxury, the so called good life in front of you, keep in mind that money is not everything. 

In other words, avoid shortcuts, discard desperation, throw away greediness and let God lead you. Do things the right way. Don't sleep with someone to get that job. Don't steal because you are eager to be rich.

Cool down. Trust God. He will give you what you need when He knows you are well able and ready to handle it. Why? So that you don't lose sight of your God! If He hasn't given it to you, it simply means you aren't ready and it could be your downfall.

*You can have all the money in the world but your life will remain empty and without purpose. Why do you hear of successful people driven to suicide?
