No thanks to social media but a new social media game called Blue Whale aka suicide game has taken the lives of about 17 teenagers in Russia in a space of 6 months and also in few central Asian countries.
It is said that it's origin is difficult to trace but that one of the sources is an online social networking website called Vkontakte.
First the teen has to sign up for the game by creating a profile on the site and then a 'curator' is assigned to her. The game coaxes the teenagers to die at the end of the game so they win.
According to Davidwolfe.com, here is a conversation between a fake prospect and a curator. The investigator pretended to be a 15 year old girl and signed up.
GIRL: “I want to play the game.”
CURATOR: “Are you sure? There is no way back,” responded a so-called curator of the Blue Whale game.
GIRL: “Yes. What does that mean — no way back?”
CURATOR: “You can’t leave the game once you begin.”
GIRL: “I’m ready.” Then the curator explained the rules
CURATOR: “You carry out each task diligently, and no one must know about it. When you finish a task, you send me a photo. And at the end of the game, you die. Are you ready?”
GIRL: “And if I want to get out?”
CURATOR: “I have all your information. They will come after you.”
The first task assigned by the curator was to carve “F58” into her arm.
By using photoshop, investigators created a fake picture of an arm with the letters/numbers scratch in. Once the photo was sent, however, the curator ceased to respond.
Another curator said to another fake prospect:
I am your personal whale. I will help you take the game all the way to the end. The last day is the end of the game. If you die, you win. If you don’t, we will help you. Are you ready?
Teenagers assigned tasks like cutting themselves and told to kill themselves on day 50 of being involved in the game.
These children are brainwashed and manipulated to cut themselves with knives or razor blade and jump from a high rise building or throw themselves under the train etc to their deaths.
The Blue whale is a symbol of social media movement encouraging children to take their own lives.
A man named Filip Budeikin believed to be behind this satanic trend has been arrested. He said the teens “died happy. I gave them that which they did not have in their real life: warmth, understanding, connection.”
*This is pure evil! So many demonic activities going on in the social media and it's meant to manipulate. They tell them how empty and useless their lives are and how best it is to leave this world. It's demonic.
It's important we raise our children by God's Word cos if they don't get the right information from the Bible, they will get it from somewhere else - social media, friends etc.
Listen: the devil is out to steal, kill and destroy and our children are viable targets. We have the responsibility to watch over them and pray for them always.

NB: Over 130 teenagers have committed suicide both in Russia and few other countries in Central Asia. 17 teenage suicides were recorded in Russia.
