Have you made your stock pile of resolutions...as usual? With every new year, we have a list of things we want to and do not want to do.
But all that comes with the excitement of the new year then seems to fade away as the weeks roll by. The determination to pursue your new year's resolutions wanes and it's only a matter of time before you even forget all about it. And life becomes the usual.
The odds are that we will continue to relapse into unfulfilled resolutions if we are not prayerfully committed to it. Resolution is all about wanting to be a better person, desiring to improve in our relationships, attitude, in one area of our lives or another.
So as you pen down your resolutions, remain resolute, persistent, consistent and prayerfully committed to seeing that those resolutions truly become part of who you are.
I have made my own resolution to be persistent in prayer and consistent in knowing Jesus, through His word but it's only the beginning of my many other resolutions. So, what's yours?
