Happy Science religion
Started by Ryuho Okawa in Japan. He believes his mission is to bring happiness to all humanity. He also believes to be the incarnation of the supreme spiritual being El Cantare.
He claims his hit movies and best selling books were channeled through him by the spirits of Mohammad, Buddha, Jesus and Confucius.
Church of Ed Wood
So the Church of Ed Wood (or “Woodism”) labels itself a pop-culture religion that hopes to bring spirituality to those people who don’t find it in more mainstream religions. They look upon Ed Wood (a transvestite in 1950s and a Hollywood director) as a savior.
*That will be all for now. I don tire. If I open up my own ' Mitchelle church' tomorrow with a strange doctrine, it won't be surprising to see people throng to it.
The bottom line is this: the world is needy and searching. Should we not use this opportunity to share Jesus with them? You don't need to go too far.
Look around you, your neighbors, your workplace, where you gym, even among your friends..why not tell them what God has done for you? That's one good way to evangelize so they don't end up in the wrong places in their quest for answers.
I love this song that says," Jesus is the answer".
