In a quest to save their congregation from addictive sins like drinking and fornication, some Russian priests got into an airplane and doused the city of Tver in holy water, in a bid to cleanse it.
According to Oddity Central, they boarded a small plane and brought with them 70 liters of holy water and two icons – the “Inexhaustible Chalice,” said to be able to cure people of alcohol and drug addiction, and one of John the Baptist.
A married a couple that claimed the husband had been miraculously cured of alcohol addiction in the past was also present aboard the airplane.
*Let me tell you what is the cure for every form of addiction and sin - the Word. Holy water does nothing. Rituals won't work.
Expose people to the Word and deliverance will come.
Luke 4:18 says, "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me and has anointed Me to...preach deliverance to the captives..."
Preach the Word to people and when they catch it, watch them burn for Him.
