His name is Jeffrey Johnston. He was raped at 9 years old for 2 years by his father's male employee until his parent divorced and he moved out of the house with his mom and sister. This dark 2-year period brought about his sexual confusion.
At 17 he left and visited a gay bar where he met some trans-people and he began to nurture the thought that maybe God made a mistake, that he is a woman trapped in a man's body.
He kept asking himself, "Why do I like other boys?"
While living in Portland, he was raped again repeatedly by 4 men. With time he was so convinced he was a woman and had to meet up an endocrinologist. At 18 he began a 2 year hormone regimen recommended before any doctor can consider surgically altering his body.
He eventually underwent surgery to receive breast implants, got a nose job, and had silicone injected into his lips and cheeks.
For 20 years he was subjected to a life of drugs, alcohol and prostitution. One day, while he was on a bus, he started crying uncontrollably and didn't know why. These crying episodes on the bus persisted for a few days and not long after that he got into an argument with a female friend of his and she pushed him head-first down a flight of stairs leaving him gnarled and twisted up.
And then something he describes as supernatural happened. Something came over Johnston and miraculously untwisted his body and he somehow felt no pain.
He had to get himself to the emergency room. While he was in the waiting area, he a little old man and a little woman.
The little woman came over and put her hand on his shoulder and asked him "Honey, do you know Jesus?"
And he lied to her, saying yes I know him. The woman with a smile thanked him and sat down. He never saw he or the old man again leading him to believe they were angels.
When he left the hospital and returned home, a still small voice kept asking him, "Do you know Jesus? Do you know Jesus?" For a week the voice persisted and he kept ignoring it, until one day he relented and decided to watch a Christian Channel to learn about Jesus.
At this point in his life, Johnston was so sickly he depended on Methadone to function. He asked God to help him make it past three days without Methadone and He did.
But the battle for his soul was fierce. In an occasion he recounted that "this spirit had me turning my head fiercely to the left, then fiercely to the right. And I'd start growling like a wolf. I'd be lying on my back and my back would arch up..."
But he kept talking to God until one day when the the TV minister said, "Even if you are lying there in your bed, get right up out of your bed and put your hand on the TV and say this prayer with us."
He did. He repented of his sins and asked the Holy Spirit to come and live inside him. He did this for three days in a row and didn't feel anything different.
But God heard his sincere prayers and showed him a vision of the 41 years of his life.
While in the vision, God said to him, "Honey, this is you growing, developing and changing."
When the vision reached the point Johnston had gotten the fake breasts and multiple cosmetic procedures, He said: "Honey, this isn't you. This is what the devil has done to you."
"I was so flabbergasted that He called me 'Honey,'" Johnston said, noting that he sat there on the edge of his bed awestruck that God would "take the time out of His day to talk to me" out of all the billions of people in the world.
But in that moment, he tangibly felt the love of God more than he ever had before.God would continue to speak to Johnston in visions, and his experiences have informed his prayers for transgender people.
In this open vision, God showed him a full-bodied brass mask that was floating in the air.Johnston blinked his eyes and once again the Lord's hand appeared before him and it was full of patina.
The Lord threw the patina on that full-bodied brass mask of a woman in the vision, and then spoke to him.
"The Lord said to me: This is a very aged mask of a phony woman being lifted up off you," he said.
And suddenly, Johnston came to his right mind and was delivered.Johnston had such mental freedom in that moment that he looked down at his body and when saw the breast implants, he did not know what they were or where they came from.
Today, when Johnston intercedes for transgender people he often asks the Father to lift the phony mask off of them in the spirit realm and that He would speak words of truth to them.
