It's FORBIDDEN for Christian children to attend church in China. If they dare, 3 things will happen...
China China China. Hmmm. China has really been hard on Christianity.
From tearing down christian cross symbols to having government approved churches and even blatant christian persecutions.
In the latest news, house church members in China have been threatened with legal action if they continue to allow their children attend church services or participate in religious activities.
An ultimatum was given to parents attending Huaqui Church by the LG office. They were told that their children would be barred from college and military programs, and parents will be sued if they allowed them to attend church and they were required to sign a document agreeing to the rules.
Chinese Aid reports that China's legislation already dictates that children under the age of 18 may not receive any religious education.
*Let me break it down for you: In China there is a government approved church called Three-Self Patriotic Movement and there is a house church which I believe is Huaqui Church.
The house church is more of an underground church and if it is not government approved that means it's sorta illegal. But despite all this, this Church continues to grow and the Chinese government is doing all in its power to intimidate them and clamp them down.
If a church is controlled by the government that will mean they are going to be run based on the government's rules and I am sure even the doctrine they teach will be compromised too.
Let's pray for the Huaqui Church. They have been prevented from holding services for the past 2 weeks.
