Pretty alarming, right?
Christian witches is purely an oxymoron, because these two words have nothing in common and have absolutely nothing to do with each other! Yet some people identify themselves as Christians and witches all at the same time. How on earth does it work?
How does light and darkness come together and team up? How do you mix holiness with profanity? I can't even begin to imagine it.
But it's no surprise. We are living in the last of the last days and it's very normal these days for people to cook up whatever doctrine that suits them. The christian witches believe Jesus was a sorcerer and the Bible, a book of magic. Appalling.
The force behind this is a woman named Valerie Love who said she was "born a witch" but was forced to stifle her identity as a Jehovah's Witness from age 4 to 30 when she finally left the "cult."
Valerie describes herself as a practicing Christian witch and an ordained minister of spiritual consciousness. She recently launched the Covenant of Christian Witches Mystery School to help Christians tap into magic, which critics are condemning as "dangerous." She insists there is nothing wrong with the idea of Christians practicing magic despite biblical warnings against it.
The first annual Christian witches convention took place in Salem, Massachusetts, April. The second convention was slated for earlier this year.
One prophet Calvin Witcher agrees with Valerie Love's doctrine and is supporting her all the way.
What does God say about witchcraft?
Revelation 21:8, "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Deuteronomy 18:9-12, "When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord."
*Beware of who you listen to and what you hear. Anything that contradicts God's Word is not of the Spirit of God. The Christian witches concept is purely demonic and meant to lead many astray.
