A heartbroken man has revealed how he booked a romantic trip to Bali
with his wife to celebrate ten years of marriage – only for her to cheat
on him when they arrived.
Taking to Reddit, the distraught man shared his sad experience to ask for other people’s opinions.
The man, 34, wrote: “I took my wife on a 10th anniversary trip to Bali and I caught her cheating on me.
"My world is completely shattered right now. She's still in Bali and I took an early flight home. I had suspected her of cheating earlier in the year but had no concrete proof.
"I don't know what steps to take now. She keeps telling me she's not sure what she wants even though we have been together for 13 years and married for 10 and she just met this guy!"
On the post, he shared how the betrayal had been like being "stabbed so hard in the heart".
But the story didn’t end there.
The plot then thickened when the husband revealed more details about the “other man” in the scenario.
He continued: “To make matters worse I am finding out this man she is with may be a criminal of some sort.
"The locals do not like him and explained to me he may have stolen a lot of money and is hiding on the island. Can I report him to the police or Interpol or something?"
Sadly, he shared how his wife, 32, has been texting him twice a day from Bali, letting him know she is having a great time with her new fella.
The Redditor concluded: “I just want my wife back and I HATE this guy. But I don't even know if I can get past this.
"I don't think I can stay with her after this when I get those texts but part of me keeps remembering the good times and omits the bad.
"Please help me because I can't see clearly right now."
Unsurprisingly, people were quick to chime in with their views on the bizarre tale.
One person slammed the wife and told the man to ditch her immediately.
He wrote: “The guy isn't the issue here. Your wife is. Get a lawyer and use the time she is away to get your finances in order.”
Another added: “Don't be that guy who looks for excuses to stay with his cheating wife. She's not stupid, she's just a bad/sneaky person. Stop texting her and get a lawyer.”
Meanwhile, one reasoned: “Maybe I’m overthinking things .... but I’m hoping this guy didn’t steal her phone and is trying to make it look like she’s okay.
“Like, I legit hope she’s okay.... especially if we already know that guy is a criminal.”
So, what would you do in his shoes?

*You know what sin does? It destroys happiness. How can a woman leave a man who truly loves her for a man she just met just because of a 'feeling'? It's stupidity and utterly selfish. Sin makes you think only about yourself and less of others.
The picture is like that of a man who was happily digging a grave without knowing that the grave he is digging with pleasure was for him.
Heartbreaking.
