It's Valentine's day and I want to do a throwback of an article I wrote about it last year.
'I deliberately missed out on the Valentine day post. But hey, celebrating Valentine is beautiful when you celebrate it right.
It's all about love, clean clear love. I mean it's a good thing if one day is brought out to celebrate romance between married couples or just love with no sex attached.
But unfortunately, it is not so. Valentine is a celebration that promotes sexual immorality and lewdness.
Also called Lovers' day, there are different versions of stories on the origin of Valentine's day.
Some say Valentine is a martyred Roman Saint who secretly performed Christian marriages for soldiers without permission.
Another version say it originated from a Roman pagan festival called Lupercalia held on February 15 as a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture.
Nowadays, Valentine's day means sex day for most people. A time to celebrate 'love' through fornication and sexual immorality. Hotels are always booked to the brim on this 'romantic' day.
But you, how do you spend it?
The way the world is now, there can be no Valentine without sex. Glorify God in everything.
