Women are being paid to be the voice of sex robots...

Developer Dr Sergi Santos, whose erotic cyborgs “like to be touched”, has launched a website on which customers can download a voice of their choice.

Voice packages, including sexual, romantic and family, are downloaded on to a memory card and inserted into “the brain” of the sex robot.

Voices available on the website, called Voice Book, have been submitted by women on the condition of anonymity.
Samantha sex robots went on sale worldwide last month, meaning these voices can be downloaded by anyone, anywhere.

This means the women to whom these voices belong could potentially become objects of desire for sex robots owners across the world.

Dr Santos, from Barcelona, said actors will be paid a proportion of the revenue made from sex robots sold with their voice.

His sex robots cost around £2,500 ($3,300).
He told Daily Star Online: “The voices will be, in principle, copyrighted, as in music.
“They will be packages, and each will belong to the person giving the voice.
“If they want to stop it they will always have control to do so.
“Payment for the voice will be a fraction of each unit sold. So the more they sell the more they make.”

On the website sex robot owners can choose from a range of voices belonging to different women.
