Stark naked competitors have taken part in Rio's naked Olympics which they organized in the honor of Greek gods.
Wearing just a suntan, the sporty naturists vie for medals in football, beach volleyball, swimming, sprinting and race walking on Rio's only nudist beach.
The stark-naked games are a throwback to the ancient Greek athletes who also played in the nude to honour the gods.
So I wanted to find out the link between Olympic games and the Greek gods and here it is:
The Olympic Games originated in ancient Greece
as far back as 3,000 years ago. The ancient
Olympics were held every four years between
August 6 and September 19 during a religious
festival honoring Zeus.
Banned in AD 393 by a Christian emperor, it was
revived 1500 years later in the late 19th century
and have become the world’s preeminent sporting
competition. The first modern Olympics were held
in Athens, Greece, in 1896. (History.com)

True, I always had my suspicion about the Olympics. Although, people will need lightning to fall from the sky to believe that many things we do today were somehow fetish practices in those days, only modernized. Take Yoga for example, it was a sort of worship/meditation/dance to a god in hinduism (I guess the sun god). Satan never changes, the tactics may look different, but the modus operandus remains the same.
