Christians should not celebrate Halloween and here's why: its spiritual significance is demonic.
Origin
Halloween , also called Samhain (pronounced sa-win) is a high satanic/witch/ pagan holiday celebrated by Celts who lived 2000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France.
They believed that on the Halloween night, the god of the dead was going to die and be reborn later. This time is a time of great fear among the people and how they dealt with it is by human sacrifice.
Souls of the dead were supposed to revisit their homes on this day. Ghosts, witches, goblins, black cats, fairies and demons of all kind are said to be roaming about. It is also thought to be the most favorable time for divinations concerning marriage, luck, health, and death. The help of the devil is invoked for such purposes.
Some satanists believe its the devil's birthday. Sometime on the early christian era, the Roman Catholic church baptized Halloween into all saints day (or all Hallows' day) and all souls day which is Nov 1 on liturgical calendar.
Bonfire
It used to be called Baal fires, a ritual to keep the Sun god from dying. It involves animal and human sacrifice where they throw the remains of the bodies into the fire. Later called bonfire.
To be cont'd.
