Artificial intelligence is causing a serious crisis in South Korea right now. They call it a deepfake porn crisis.

For those who don't know what Deepfake porn is, it is a sexually explicit content that has been digitally altered using artificial intelligence (AI) to superimpose someone’s face—usually without their consent—onto the body of another person in a pornographic video or image thus generating a highly realistic but fake visual content. It can be used to target dignitaries, celebrities, influencers, or even private individuals.

And that means that with this tool, nobody is safe. As long as your picture is out there, anyone can use it to create an explicit deepfake and implicate you even when you've never taken or sent a nude photo.
