Why is it that when things go wrong, people are quick to ask, "Where is God?"
Yet we are the very architects of our problem, not God.
A loving God has given us all we need in Christ. He beckons on us, continually reaches out to us to receive the Answer He has proffered.
But no. We prefer to wallow in sin, and our sin brings forth corruption and destruction. Yet we turn around and blame Him.
We say, "How can a loving God do this? How can He stand around and allow us perish?"
We fail to realize that it's our sin! The sin we commit and are still commiting is responsible for the destruction we see around us.
You don't sow corn and reap beans. You don't sow mango and reap banana. The natural law says you reap what you sow.
Every decision we make has a consequence. Our every choice results in a definite result. So it's time to ask yourself, "What seed am I sowing?"
Stop blaming God. He is not the problem. We are! We are the creators of our very own problem. The problems that come haunting us.
Beware of your choices. Choosing God is choosing life. Rejecting God is embracing destruction, because it's only in Him that everything beautiful can be found.
So in the midst of this pandemic, don't ask, "Where is God?" Rather ask yourself, "Where is God in my life?" He is the Answer the world seeks.
Shalom!
